The temperature got up over 100* today and felt even higher with the humidity. I walked outside this morning at 7:30 AM and I was already sweating just letting the chickens out of the coop. I am glad I put fresh cold water in all the buckets and in the baby/doggie pool last night so the chickens all had fresh water today. What we really need is this…
A nice cool waterfall for the chickens to drink out of and the dogs to get into. (Hey I wouldn’t mind it myself.)
I wanted to give a shout out to Life As Story Blog http://thewrightsstuff.wordpress.com who gave me my second nomination for the One Lovely Blog Award. She is a home schooling mom who finds joy in every day things 🙂 Since I have already filed the requirements for this award in my previous post https://seasonsgirl.wordpress.com/2012/06/22/one-lovely-blog-award/ I will leave this at a Thank you to Life As Story.
It’s suppose to be over 100* with bad humidity this whole weekend so I will be spending a lot of time inside doing chores and organizing. I hope you all have a beautiful and blessed weekend…. I am off to take care of hubby as he has strep throat and the flu so he needs some extra TLC right now.
Hope your husband feels better soon. Strep is not fun.
Thank you I will tell him 🙂
Hi,
Sounds like you are having a very hot summer, I love the little waterfall, it does look very refreshing. 🙂
I thought it looked nice and cool when I saw it 🙂
We have the same kind of very uncomfortable weather here so we feel for you. Praying we all get some relief soon. Sorry your hubby is not feeling well and hope he is all well very soon. Stay cool as you can in this hot miserable stuff. A nice natural spring with a waterfall would be the ideal thing to have. Hugs
I think many of us are feeling the heat. An article I read 25 states have this bad heat. We also had a horiable storm last night that did quite a bit of damage. A waterfall was what the rain felt like 😉
So sorry to hear about the storm doing damage. Hope you do not have damage at your place. I guess I didn’t read your post right since I thought you were needing rain. My head is getting too old. 🙂
Its ok no big deal… the rain is good for the garden, but that rain was a little too much as it damaged the garden insted. We did loose the run to our chicken coop, some big tree limbs, and power for about 18 hours, but we were lucky.
Glad you are okay and it was not any worse.
Me too and thank you… you are always kind 🙂
