Our Chase is becoming quite the swimmer. He is loving the water more and more and gaining more confidence to swim. He is such a good boy π
I guess when they say this is the dog days of summer that they mean all the dogs who love to swim and play π I hope you get this kind of day if you haven’t soon π
You’re so right – it’s got to be about cooling off in the heat! Mind you, there is the old saying: ‘the only things out in the midday sun are mad dogs and Englishmen’ π
I never heard that before thanks for sharing that saying π
When they say dog days, they mean the weather is so hot and miserable it is not even fit for a dog. Dogs won’t even get up off the porch to bark at the mailman, they just raise their head up and look then think ” Ah, the heck with that it’s too hot”, and just lay back down.
I don’t think some dogs get it they will swim whenever they can hot or not π
You can’t beat a nice swim on a hot day can you sweet Chase. Love the picture. Hugs and nose kisses
Thank you… Chase is learning that a nice swim is helpful in the heat π Glad you liked the photo… more to come π
