So kindness is really in the small things and in the small ways we show God to others. Today when hubby and I went to get our blood work done the receptionist was in a bad mood….

Female Gorilla

She was overwhelmed with the computers being slow, fax down, and patients coming in. I made it my goal to show her kindness and make her smile. SoΒ I was as polite as I could be, patient, and complemented her outfit and efficiency despite the issues she was facing. By the time we left she was busier than ever, but smiling πŸ™‚ It felt good to make her feel better and not need anything in return. I like to do things and not get or need anything in return outside of the knowledge I showed God’s love to someone πŸ™‚ Happy Monday πŸ™‚

  1. I like it, and have done the same myself many times. Too often people are wiling to abuse and complain without knowing the whole story, or bothering to think that as humans, that person may just be having a bad day, and even attempting to be nice. I’ve been thanked for this aswell. Having a laugh with the person, as sometimes things are out of our control, and that in itself makes us mad. Too often also, we want something back, some reward, instead of simply being nice. Hat lady will remember you for helping her feel better. πŸ™‚

  2. You’re my favorite kind of person…someone who thinks of others before themselves!! Jesus, Others, You = JOY Thanks for spreading some around…the world needs it!!

What do you think? I would love to hear from you :)
