It is earth day… a day focused on how we can help keep the earth beautiful that God made so long ago. It is hard to imagine how beautiful and clean the earth was when God created it. It is saddening to think of all the damage humans have done to earth. It is good to know at least now we can do things like recycle, use less fuel, plant trees, plant our own food, care for our land, and so much more. All these small things help the big picture. We may not be able to control how big corporations harm our earth, but we can control what we do. Yel n red tulip

We planted two tress this year in honor of earth day, we care for our land, we car pool, recycle, and plant our food without pesticides… How are you going to celebrate our earth today and how are you going to give back to the planet you live on?

  1. I observed Earth Day by getting my hands dirty moving seedlings. 🙂 And, we recycle and repurpose so much it amazes me. I hauled pallets left from wood pellets to the edge of the property last week and they were gone within three hours. On Saturday, we loaded up the utility trailer and hauled to recycling and deposited everything in the various places and that was after putting out regular recycling at the curb on Friday. Keeping the earth as clean as we can is a good thing and I enjoy doing my share. Thanks for reminding us how important it is.

    • You sound like you do a lot of what we do… you defiantly do your share every day 🙂 Great work 🙂

  2. Happy earth day to you too! 🙂 I forgot about it but I did do something today: hubby and I we took Nate and the dogs for a walk and we then went to our yard that used to be filled with snow days ago but now it’s all melted, so we decided to clean it up, we did a lot of work today and we are planning on doing more this week! I’m very glad to have done this today! 🙂 Hope you will have a great week! 🙂

    • Sounds like a great Earth Day and good work on the cleaning job… those are always needed in our yard 🙂 Hubby did his third mow of the year today to help the grass and give the chickens something to scratch in for bugs n’ stuff 🙂 Hope you have a great week also 🙂

  3. I think that one of the most important things that I can do is to teach my children to never take anything for granted. Being thankful for our resources and recognizing that we must use them responsibly is so very important to our earth’s sustainability. I love to listen to my girls — it is always interesting to see how they transform the lessons that their daddy and I teach them and integrate them into their own lives.

    Happy Earth Day to you!

    • You do have great kids and they are very aware as you and your hubby have done a good job at keeping them close to their earth and how we all play a part 🙂 Keep up the great work and have a blessed week 🙂

What do you think? I would love to hear from you :)
