My poor Chase is sick… he has had a tummy ache and isn’t holding down much food today. I tried to give him some meds like the doctor said, but he didn’t like it. His gums are still the right color so they said that was good and he is drinking water. So far no issues in the last few hours other then low mood and not being his normal peppy self. If he isn’t better by tomorrow we might just take him in to the vet to get checked out. It may just be his sinuses running into his tummy as he does have allergies. My poor boy he has been staying close to me and has gone everywhere with me today so I could keep an eye on him.
I pray he will feel better by tomorrow and back to his normal energetic and happy self.

oh! no! sorry to hear about Chase, I really hope it’s nothing serious and that tomorrow he will be better and that he will be able to eat too! poor little boy 😦 (you are a lovely person, taking care of him) 🙂 hope you keep us updated of his health but I’m sure he will be good very soon! 🙂

Thank you for the well wishes for Chase and congrats 🙂 I just tried to give him some plain brown rice and so far he has kept that down 🙂 I will keep you posted 🙂

Oh thank you for the prayers Chase appreciates them 🙂 Chase has kept down a little plain brown rice now and hopefully that will last 🙂 And thank you for the congrats 🙂

My dog recently was unwell, thought I may loose her, but when visiting Vet he confirmed her heart was in great shape and we worked it out to Stress. Over the weekend workmen had been in hammering.sawing ect. with me, and upstairs new windows put in.

Yes stress can be a problem. I think our poor boy has sinus issues and drainage in his tummy so the brown rice seems to help him 🙂 I am glad your pup is better 🙂

Somehow in the craziness of last week, I missed this post of yours. I hope that Chase is better—it’s always worrisome when our beloved pets get sick. Hopefully he is now back to romping around as usual 🙂

Thank you for the concern. He seems to be doing better and is more lively. We are keeping him on a brown rice and now added wet food to is diet. It seems to be working. (And don’t worry the typo is fixed 😉 )
Glad to hear that he is better. I remember when our first black lab got sick–she ate acorns and they completely tore up her digestive system. She got so sick… The good news is that she fully recovered and lived another 12 years after that 🙂
Taylor (the lab) absolutely LOVED the soft dog food that we had to give her for several months after her surgery. I am sure that Chase will be just as enthusiastic about it!

Yes he seem to enjoy it very much 🙂 I am happy to hear Taylor lived a nice long life even after the acorns… I think Chase just got ahold of something bad and has sinus issues drainage and such 😦 He seems to be fully recovered now 🙂
