We have more snow.. 17 inches to be exact.
It took us 4 hours to dig out our driveway and then go over to help our elderly neighbor dig out his. Our other neighbor came over with his snow blower and helped us out…
The snow was taller then Chase, but that didn’t stop him from trying to get over the snow banks as we dug out…
Baxter was a good big brother and blazed a trail for Chase to follow him into the snow…

I just couldn’t hit “like” on this one because we’ve been there several times this winter. Wicked winter weather we are all having this year and ‘good’ neighbors like you are hard to find. 🙂
I know most people hate the snow especially those with animals, but it really hasn’t bothered us this year, even with our animals. We just have tried to look at things from the positive and realize since they are predicting the hottest summer on record we will be wishing for this cool weather when we are about to die from the heat 😉 We just plan ahead and then things aren’t as bad, still harder, but a bit of hard work never hurt me yet 🙂 I appreciate you saying we are good neighbors… we try to do the right thing and be helpful 🙂
Bugger. I am all too familiar with this scene. Dig? I see a snowblower 🙂 That machine is a god with weather like that.
Yes, we did dig out about half our drive way until our neighbor came by with the snow blower. He always does at some point because it would take us half to a whole day to dig out if he didn’t. We have our own snow blower, but it was given to us not working and we haven’t figured out the problem yet. Our neighbor has always told us not to get a snow blower he likes to use his and it gives him an excuse to get out of his house. 🙂

You are good neighbors. We have three that live close to us that we check on regularly. Eddie has had a time keeping the snow out of our driveways and fields to the cattle but still makes time to help the neighbors. I make the paths for Sassy to get to her private spots outdoors. This snow is so hard on the animals. We got another inch during the night and it’s still snowing.

Yes, snow makes things harder with the animals and the bigger the animal the harder, because you can’t just stick them in a warm barn with a whole herd. Its snowing here again to since about 4 AM and we have about another inch or two, but not too much. The wind is what makes it harder as it blows the snow and you all around. It nips you nose and bites your toes 😉 Hope you all stay warm and dry 🙂

I guess, but spring will lead to a hot summer so I am trying to enjoy the cold. 😉
