A couple weekends ago we went to beach to visit my mom and stepdad. This was Baxter’s 4th or 5th trip to the beach, but only Chase’s 2nd time. As much as Baxter loves the beach, I have to say Chase is enthralled with it. He loves to run and play on the beach and makes up his own games like “chase the wave’.
He watches for the wave to crash on the shore and then chases the surf back out and then runs again when the next wave crashes.

It’s almost here…
He ran into my mom the first time he played this game and as you can tell Baxter was giving the wave a stern bark for scaring Chase…
He chased it back out…
Then waited again…
Woops it almost got him…
He got brave and got closer…
Then checked out the foam from the wave…
Look Mom I’m not afraid and I chased that wave back into the sea…
What a happy and brave pup 😉 …

I know he likes the water so I hope he gets to like the ocean 🙂 It was a little chilly when we were there the last time so I’m kind of glad he didn’t get in as he would have been cold and wet… not a good combination for a pup 😉

Thank you Chase kept chasing them so he gave me plenty of opportunity to get a good shot 😉 He was a little more afraid at first, but then he got a little more brave as he kept at it 🙂
