We had a visitor to our chicken coop. We had a similar visitor last year as well. A little brown birdie built a nest in one of our highest nesting boxes. You could see her in there off and on and a couple eggs…
She and her little babies are gone now so we moved her nest to the burn pile for the fall, as we don’t want the little mice to use it if they got in there. It was interesting that the chickens didn’t pay any attention to the mom flying in or out, or being above them in the nesting box. Love how nature works things out sometimes. Bye mom and babies wherever you went to.
