I am a Christian, wife, and puppy/cat mom living with my husband, dogs, cat, and chickens in Virginia. We have a dream to someday own our own small farm with goats, pigs, chickens, horses, cows, and any other animals to boot. We have been waiting for God to allow us to have a child for many years now and are patiently waiting and looking forward to seeing the child/children God has for us.
If you want to e-mail me my e-mail is seasonsgirlblog@hotmail.com. I look forward to your comments π
Hej from Sweden !

Gorgeous pups Seasonsgirl! May spring be very, very good to you!

Blessings on getting your small ranch! I love Chase and Baxter. All the best with your blog. It’s so much fun. I’ll check in again.
Thank you… we keep our prayers hopeful for that ranch some day. Thanks for the encouragement about the blog some days I feel I am not doing so well. Thanks for coming by π
I don’t know how long you’ve been blogging but it takes a while to get people readying your blog. I always post mine on my Facebook account, which helps. When I did dog posts, I have the woman who runs the pit bull rescue post them on her Facebook account and I got tons of hits that way. Visiting other blogs and commenting helps, too, it’s just sometimes hard to have the time to do.
Do you want a ranch in Virginia?
Thanks for the tips. I apperciate the advice π We are not sure where we want our ranch… we are open right now.
I think it’s the kind of thing you have to leave up to God. He’s a great realtor!! π
Agreed π
Amen I will agree God is the best realtor in the world. I am praying for you and your family.
Thank you so much π
Thank you for stopping by my site and clicking the “like”. π It looks like you have a very blessed life and congratulations on starting a family. Many blessings to you!~~~Michele
We are still trying, but are hopefull and keep praying. Thanks for coming by my site π

So glad you like my blog, I enjoyed yours also. Look forward to having you come by again π
Oh we have the same dream. I already have a 2-acre land in the country. I just need the funds to develop it and make it into an animal sanctuary. Thank you for stopping by my blog Seasonsgirl π Your site is lovely and I can’t take my eyes off the dogs.
I am so glad you enjoyed my blog. I enjoyed yours π Keep me posted on your dream. I will pray your dreams come true… its nice to know people who want to keep land for farm reasons and not develope it with houses.

Your blog is great I love anything that includes an animal adventure and the photos are awesome I especially like the shots from the festival in the ‘Whats a girl to do’ post. Oh, Chase and Baxter are adorable. I too would love a farm but that is just a dream. Thanks again π
Hello New Zealand π I am so glad you came by my blog and enjoyed it. Farms dreams are great and you never know. Thanks for the lovely comment.
Greetings from Scotland! Thanks for dropping by our blog. We rehome around 100 Springers a year in our small country, but some, like Fudge, need to stay in our care permanently. Your two dogs look like happy, healthy pooches! Good luck with the ranch dream.
Thank you so much for the nice comment. I wish you all the best with the Springer rehomeing.
I just had to pop by to visit after seeing you dogs in your pic, they’re gorgeous.
You have a wonderful dream, though your life already sounds idyllic.
I promise it is not idyllic, far from it at times, but I try to count my blessings, and not focus so much on the bad stuff. I am so glad you stopped by the see the pups, they are my babies π Thank you for the sweet comment π

Thanks for the return stop by and I do hope to visit and have you visit again π
Greetings from Canada! I was excited to have a follower and yesterday I seemed to growing fast all of sudden. Its so nice to “meet” someone with the same interests in photos. I love the farm dreams although its not one of mine. I was a country girl now its all city life for me! However I am a firm believer that you can take the girl out of the country but you’ll never take the country out of the girl! So a country girl at heart I will always be! I look forward to your future blogs and sharing stories with you. Shari
PS: This was my first layout as well! How cool is that!
You seem to be doing well. I wish you all the best and many future followers. I look forward to seeing what you do and having you visit my blog also. I am definitely a country girl and always will be. I really didn’t do well when I had to live in the city while I was in graduate school. Thanks again for the great comment.
You have a lovely blog which I believe I shall follow, and thanks for commenting on mine. My four-legged son Jasper (I also have a two-legged one, Aaron) is quite a character. Never a dull day…
P.S. We, too, hang out in Virginia, but in the dull, flat and featureless Virginia Beach.
My mom lives in Norfolk… what a small world. Thanks for the follow and nice comment.
Wow, two adorable dogs enjoying the snow π I’m sure my shihtzu will enjoy playing in the snow.I have a feeling he is getting tired of life in a tropical country haha. It’s very hot here these days.
It’s hot here now too, I am sure my pups are thinking about snow. Send your shihtzu about January and he can run with our pups in the snow π
π How I wish we are not miles miles away from where you are, I’d definitely send him over to your place when snow comes lol
Our pups do love the snow and love company π
Thanks for the like! We just got some chicks, but they are growing fast!
They do grow so fast… even faster then our pups. Take lots of pictures to remember them as chicks π
It’s fantastic that you are going on a journey of life. I will ‘follow’ you! Looking forward to future posts!
So glad you want to come along for the ride… I hope you enjoy π Thanks for the “follow”. π
Thanks for stopping by and liking my post. Looks like we’ve got some things in common. Wow, your tomatoes are already growing… ours up here in the hills of Western Mass are just starting to leaf. Love the photos of your dogs. We are equally passionate about our 3 dogs, 2 cats and 8 new chickens.
I think you are right we do have some things in common. Our porch tomato is ahead of the rest, they all have buds, but this one has tomatoes getting bigger. Thanks for coming by π
Thanks for the comment. Saw the photo of Dogs…very cute! I have a client who works with Thelma the Guide Dog and helps the blind bowl and they are going to compete in an all blind bowling league competition coming up. I am a fan of dogs, nature and being outdoors. Use to have horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits, dog, cat, various birds but not all at the same time. No pets now…enjoy others when I have the time.
Guide dogs are great. I think any working dog is valuable (the non working ones are too just in a differnt way). Sounds like you grew up sort of like me with lots of animals in your life all at differnt times. You are always welcome to come by and enjoy the photos of the ckicks and dogs. Glad you liked the dog photos π
Thank YOU! Great photos on your blog. If wish you may find Thelma on her website. She blogs with the help of her human. http://www.ThelmaTheGuideDog.com
π Thelma gave “Paws of Approval” for the First Signing Dolls to be donated across the Nation on Valentine’s Day to Deaf Schools…I was part of that project and it was incredible Thelma is a real dog that was trained in Oregon. Not all dogs make it through the school and it is very expensive to train them. About $28,000 to $40,000 as I recall.
My trainings are expensive, but if that is what the person wants then it is worth it. All the best to Thelma. I am glad you enjoyed my blog.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like Baxter, your therapy dog. He reminds me of our Sparky, who has since passed on from old age. Keep up the blogging.
Thank you for the encouragement π Glad you enjoyed the pup π
Thanks for visiting my blog and the nice comment, your blog is great and i will follow for sure.
I am so glad you enjoyed it and are following π

Congratulations! It sounds like this is just what you needed today.
It was what I needed thank you π
I pray for you in this time of waiting, that you will be blessed with children in God’s time. We waited upon the Lord until my daughter was born, and she has been a great blessing in our lives. I pray God will bless you in the same way.
Thank you so very much for the prayers and good thoughts. I really apperciate them, especially from those who know how hard it is to wait. π
Hi there…thanks so much for checking out my blog – brand new at this, as you can tell. I noticed you’re caring for a disabled parent, which is something I did as well. Wishing you all good things – and strength! thanks again, liz
Thanks for coming by π You are correct I am caring for my father who is paralyzed from the chest down. It’s not always easy, but you know that π Who did you care for if you don’t mind me asking? I apperciate the wish for strength I need some of that some days π I am glad you came by Liz and I am glad I found your blog also, all the best with your blog π
Thanks for the good wishes…sorry about your Dad. My mom was physically handicapped from the time I was a kid. As I got older, it got worse. I was the oldest kid…you know the drill. So, yes, wishing you strength and on those days it’s in short supply? A front porch and some headphones. π
I am sorry about your mom. I am an only child so I do know th drill. I agree the front porch and some headphones or a good book can help. This blog has also been a good place for me just to escape and share blessings. π

hello there. Funny how I have been blogging a few years now and all of a sudden I am finding people with the same theme layout. First there is one in Tasmania I think you will like. They are starting a kind of farm too. Her posts are long, but fun
http://theroadtoserendipity.wordpress.com/
and then I noticed someone else on your comments has this theme too. What a small world. I have not looked at many posts here yet, but they all look like they could have been by me! Partly because it looks the same, but partly because they are posts about things that I find interesting too. I think I will have to keep an eye on this blog. Happy writing!
Glad you came by and I will check out the link when I have a moment. Hope you come back π

http://godssceneryandpromises.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/illuminating-bloggers-award/
Thanks for you comment on my blog. It is fun to be on this new adventure. Enjoyed with tears your post about losing your first chicken. I remember our first baby goat that died, later her mom that was terrible! With the mom I was on the phone with the vet when she died, and I started crying…….,yup, I am a tough farm girl π
I look forward to sharing in adventures and cooking with you.
I am so glad you came by. I am sorry my chicken post bought you to tears, but I understand why. I am sorry about you goats. I think even tough farm girls can cry… so you and I are still Tough Farm Girls π I look forward to sharing our adventures too π

A great photo of the dogs–I like the snow!
Thank you… they were pretty young there, but that was the really cute stage π
It was a stage? Boy it had this professorish mind tricked!
Yep really cute and could get what they wanted, but as they grew up they are still cute, but not those baby faces anymore so they can’t always get their way…
I understand that! Only 75% their way now, right?
Give or take depending on the day π
π Absolutely!
Love your blog!

Northish of you now. Thanks for the good wishes for our dreams we are working at them and hoping it is in line with Gods plans for us π
Oh, well, it definitely looks to be out in the country, so I can imagine where. Lucky you, to be out of the suburbs! I hope your dreams are in line with God’s too, and I really do wish you the best. π
Thank you so much π
Thank you for liking my most recent post!
Welcome I liked the sign a lot π
It’s nice to meet you, I’m in Kentucky. One question….no cats ? π
My father had a farm in KY. Nice to meet you.
No… no cats right now. I had them most of my life, but where we are now cats don’t fit in. Hopefully our next place will let us have a barn cat at least. π
