Spring walk
It’s been getting nice some days here and other days the wind and cold return. Yesterday it was nice enough to get the boys out for a short walk. Baxter is doing a little better and wants to be out more so we’re taking it slow, but so far so good. Chase is his usual happy wanting to go, go, go self. He found … Read More Spring walk

The Safari Park
While we were on our trip late May early June we did a lot of different things. I went zip lining for the first time with my nephew who graduated (Soooooo fun I would totally do it over and over again), went to different places I had never been before (like Branson), and got to go on other adventures including going though a Safari … Read More The Safari Park

Chicken Flowers
Over the weekend hubby and I decided to have a yard sale. Our neighbor down the road decided to join us with some of her stuff. Have you ever been on a cable operated ferry… if you have been to Whites Ferry then you have 🙂 A few weeks back my mom, step-father, and I went on this neat little ferry in Maryland. The chickens should be happy now… we spent the whole weekend building them new laying boxes and perches. My mom and step-father came up to help us. On the Rocks…
We have become a hiking family… whenever we can we hit the trails and explore. The pups are good at getting over the rocks and though tight spaces we have to walk in. We got a new pop up bowel for them to drink out of and our backpack holds enough water for up to a 2 hour hike. They are good company on … Read More On the Rocks…

Have you ever been to… It is a cute little Amish roadside place in Pennsylvania with a quaint little roadside shop (my husband loves the shoo fly pie there) and a miniature town museum. The museum I don’t have pictures of but you can check it out at http://www.roadsideamericainc.com/ . We have been to the museum and shop before, but on our trip we went … Read More Roadside America
When the train comes along…
I love walking on the trails and watch the sun come though the trees… it is like a guide to where you should go… a guiding light. I also like it when you are walking some place you have been before and you see something new or exciting. Since I was a little kid I have loved to watch trains pass and count their cars. … Read More When the train comes along…
