The Boy are a little late but wanted to have their own post to wish you a happy 4th of July…

They wanted you to know what they are greatful for:

1. Mommy and Daddy

2. Kibble (their food)

3. Their beds

4. Their big back yard to play in

5. Treats- especially marrow bones

6. Their toys

7. Their Grandmother (who spoils them)

8. Naps

9. Rides in the truck

10. Long walks or hikes

Do you know why we celebrate Independence Day which is Americas Birthday??? Independence Day is the national holiday of the United States of America commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although the signing of the Declaration was not completed until August, the 4th of July has been accepted as the official anniversary of United States independence. The first Independence Day celebration took place the following year – July 4, 1777.
