It was a nice day today,Β outside of the wind… It was nice to see the sun and have temperatures over 50*. Hubby and I took a drive this afternoon to get some supplies at the farm store and took the pups with us. Chase road most of the time with his head out the window until it got too windy for that. We only let him do this when we are on back roads and not going too fast. Funny fact Chase has learned to put down his own window…. yes really he learned to push the button and get his window to go down. Now we have to lock them if we don’t want it down and Chase does π
Anyways… We were outside some today until it got too cold from the wind. It didn’t seem to bother the birds too bad. Do you see the two birdies that were playing in our tree?
They were so funny playing tag and checking out the bird feeders. They made me happy and reminded me of the fun we can all haveΒ with life on a sunny day π
I am laughing at Chase opening the car window! It is amazing what dogs learn to do π
I am glad to hear that the sun came out today for you–spring is coming, just keep the faith!

I love when you comment it always makes me smile π Chase is a funny boy and a smart one too… he can learn tricks so quick π The sun was nice, I heard it is supposed to be cold from the wind tomorrow, but hope that will stop soon too. How is the weather in your neck of the woods? Hope it is getting nice too π
We had a beautiful weekend. I loaded up the family and the horses on Saturday and we went down to our grass pasture for a picnic. Our grass is very slow to green due to lack of moisture and a cold March, but it was good to get the family down there and enjoy the day. The days are getting longer and I can feel spring in the air. We are praying for some much needed rains in the next few weeks.
One of our dogs knows how to open the door–she lets herself in and out of the house through the door going into the back yard. We are trying to teach her to close the door behind her instead of leaving it open to let the cold in! Dogs are fun to have around—they make us smile π

Oh I am so happy to hear about your picnic… that sounds so nice π Our grass is just starting to be green and that is so nice π I hope sping does come for you soon… I bet that is a good time of year at the feed yard π
Your dog sounds as smart as my Chase… hope you can get your dogs to close the door π
It is so much fun to watch the dogs stick their head out the windwo, our Zeke does this too and his ears flap and he tries to sniff everything, its funny cause he just cant keep up! Those birds look like the black capped chickadees you wondered about before when I posted them. Cool, they are my favorite little bird and they have been around here more lately too. They are fun to watch, when they are at our feeders and on our porch they are so cute because they hop they don’t run. I am glad you had a nice day. Love to read your posts, I look forward to them. Take care and have a nice week.
Dogs sticking their heads out the window I think is as close to heaven as dogs get till they go there π It just seems to make them happy as a long walk or a good bone π I thought the bird was a chickadee… I remember you posting about them π I am so glad you enjoy my posts, that makes me feel great π Have a good week also.
It was nice in the mid west as well. Great to soak in the sun.
I herd it was nice in the mid west.. hope you get some more sun π
Beautiful, beautiful pictures! Those birds are so cute, you really took a beautiful picture of them! π As for the picture of Chase; it’s my favourite! He is so handsome! π it’s funny but Bobby (my first dog), he had learned how to use the “window buttons” too from my parents car, they are amazing! π Glad you had a beautiful day! π
Thank you I am so happy you liked the photos π The birds allowed me to get a good shot as did Chase π It is funny how dogs can figure out ways to get what they want and then act like they have no clue how to do what we want them too π
