It was another pretty yet cooler day… the sun was shining, the clouds were white and fluffy, and it was a good day for outside work.
I know your not supposed to work on Sunday, but this work was for us and it was relaxing in some respects. We got some root vegetables put in the garden… the lawn got mowed (again)… the chicken run and coop were cleaned out… the fence weeds were trimmed… and the baby chicks got out for a while.
The neighbor kids came over to check out the chicks while they were outside. The big chickens didn’t even go near the area the baby girls were in. I think that is a good sign as they didn’t try to peck them to death 😉 Hubby and I also had some time to read and eat dinner outside on the deck. The pastors sermon at church was good as always and gave me a lot to think about this week. I hope you had a blessed and sunny Sunday 🙂

Glad you had a beautiful Sunday and glad to see Chase (so handsome) and a baby chick (they are growing!) We had a sunny Sunday here too but it was still a bit cold, so we went shopping, hope next weekend we will be able to start cleaning our garage) Hope you will have a great week too! 🙂
Chase is good at posing and letting “mommy” take some photos 😉 The chicks are growing so fast we finally got their nesting area built so they can go out as soon as the weather stays warmer at night. They will still need the heat lamp, but they need some space and they are dusting up my laundry area 😉 Most people don’t know how much dust and stuff these little cuties can stir up 🙂 I am so glad you got some sun… hopefully the warm is close behind 🙂

Oh I am so happy you are enjoying… I was hoping it was fun to learn about and watch… I am having a lot of fun watching them grow also 🙂
