After another snow fall on Monday and another 8 inches on the ground the sun broke through today after some rain. After it dried up a little Baxter and Chase had a grand time out in the yard playing. Then when they were done Baxter spent some time sunning…
Chase on the other hand never seems to loose energy so he followed me around for all the chores outside then took his watch dog pose from the back porch. He stopped his job long enough for this photo 😉
The chickens were in most of the morning because it was still chilly and raining. I didn’t want to have to worry about them while I was at work. When I got home I let them out and they just seemed joyful as they pecked around the yard.

We’re having a wonderful sunny, melting type of day today. Tomorrow we have rain/snow coming to the state. Oh well, we’ll enjoy today in knowing the sap will be running in New England. 🙂
Yep, we got that rain as well. I have heard from others that the sap is good this year in many areas due to all the moisture 🙂 I hope you have a blessed weekend and week to come 🙂

Ya, then funny thing today (Sunday) we had more sleet and snow… funny how that happened 🙂 Our property is flooded so some more sun to dry it up a little would be nice, but at least we don’t have to worry about our well drying up there is plenty of water for that and the water table 😉
